SIBLEY HALL RENOVATION

The proposed design intervention for Sibley Hall at Cornell University was conceived to make it accessible and at the same time enhance its continuity from wing to wing, experiential expansion-contraction of the space visual participation o outsider over user and vice versa, and impact on the context to generate common areas that would stimulate the interaction between art and architecture students. The spatial re-organization involved the Dean's office, Hartell Gallery, façade alterations, parking and open spaces. This project won SEIPP Memorial First Prize.
